BIMINI TOPS
With the harshness of the Australian sun, many boating families are finding it necessary to have more of their boat under cover. Classic Marine Trimming can fabricate new bimini frames, bimini extensions and shade extensions to protect yourself, your family and your guests.

FRAMES
We can custom make aluminium bimini frames for any size of boat. We generally use polished 25mm tube with a 3mm wall which provides a frame with strength and flexibility. Our fittings are quality hardened plastic to ensure your frame is corrosion free. For larger boats or for those clients that prefer the look and strength, a stainless steel frame can be fabricated and stainless fittings used. In some cases, it is possible to counter lever the frame from the hardtop or flybridge floor of the boat so that there are no legs.

Bimini Extensions

Bimini extensions are fabricated using your existing frame as a base, and adding additional bows to the frame. In this case, we match the aluminium or stainless steel tubing and fittings of your existing frame so that the overall look of the frame is maintained.

Shade Extensions

Shade extensions are made using two tent like poles which fit into rod holders placed into the boat. They can be fabricated from either aluminium or stainless steel. They curve slightly to ensure the shade material has tension and the material will either zip to an existing bimini, or attach to the hardtop or flybridge floor. They are a great solution for those clients who wish to have the flexibility of being able to remove the shade completely
