CLEAR PVC SCREENS

There are 3 main types of clear PVC, each with their own benefits. It is important to choose the type of clear which suits your intended use as well as matching your budget. The different types of clear are namedafter their form of manufacture.

• CALENDARD CLEAR
• EXTRUDED CLEAR
• PRESSED POLISHED SHEET CLEAR

Clear PVC can also be used for café blinds, domestic outdoor blinds and for architectural uses

When it comes to the clears on boats, there are a number of different options available in the way they are fabricated. We therefore meet with our boat owners with their boat, discuss these options and come up with a solution that best suits their use of the boat. We are then able to provide our clients with a written quote, completely obligation free.

CALENDARD CLEAR

Calendard clear comes in rolls and is an excellent quality, low cost product which is ideal for café blinds, party and houseboats clears, rear deck clears and any other purpose where absolute visual clarity is not an issue

Calendard clear has only a slight visual distortion, last very well and is well priced. It is also available in a tinted version, which is great for cutting down heat and light without losing visibility.

PRESSED POLISHED SHEET CLEAR

As the name suggests, this product comes in sheets. It is on the higher end of the price range and offers superior visual clarity whilst still being able to be rolled up, although it is stiffer than calendared or extruded clears. Pressed polished sheet clear is also available in a light tint which is great for cutting down light and heat.

It's only limitation is the fact that it comes in a sheet and therefore there is more wastage than using the clear PVCs which come in rolls.
